Educated at Carnegie Institute of Technology, Syracuse University, and Silvermine College of Art, Peter Bennett has lived and worked in Southern Maine for over thirty five years. In addition, he has also had a residency at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Isle, Maine. Peter draws on multiple influences in his work, including European and American Modernism, Japanese feudal armor, Atomic Age graphics, and industrial uses of materials. His work has been included in numerous exhibitions in Maine, New York, and other locations.
